Overview
Broadmouth Canyon Ranch’s Idaho operation covers 40,000 acres of pine and aspen-covered Blackfoot Mountain terrain at 5,500 to 7,500 feet of elevation — all private. Free-range elk hunts run a documented 80 percent success rate with one-on-one guides and the choice of hunting out of a main lodge with private rooms and full meals, or a backcountry spike camp in wall tents with wooden floors, cots, heaters, and Dutch Oven cooking. The Idaho license and elk tag run approximately $572 to $865 depending on residency and tag type.
