Overview
El Dorado’s Mixed Bag package combines quail, duck, and dove hunting across Hacienda San Vicente’s 500,000-plus acres in Tamaulipas, Mexico — running November 1 through February 28. A standard package includes five hunts structured around two quail hunts, two duck hunts, and one dove hunt. The operation holds 16 waterfowl species including teal, pintail, canvasback, speckled belly geese, and snow geese, hunted from natural blinds over freshwater ponds and lagoons. Lodge capacity is limited to eight guests during mixed bag season. All beverages including alcohol are complimentary; transportation from Brownsville/Harlingen and shotguns are included. Itinerary
Arrive Brownsville/Harlingen; transportation to Hacienda San Vicente in Tamaulipas.
Rotating quail, duck, and dove hunts across the hacienda — quail over dogs in brushy upland country, ducks over decoys from natural blinds on freshwater ponds and lagoons, dove in agricultural fields.
Final hunt; transport back to Brownsville/Harlingen for departure.
