Overview
El Dorado Outfitters’ wild quail program runs November 1 through February 28 on 500,000-plus acres of prime Tamaulipas brushcountry at Hacienda San Vicente. Well-trained bird dogs work the country, and quail numbers on private managed ground in this part of Mexico remain consistently strong where public pressure is absent. Standard packages run five hunts; a full-week option extends to 11 hunts at the price of two. Lodge capacity during quail season is limited to eight guests. Transportation from Brownsville/Harlingen, shotguns, and all beverages including alcohol are included. Contact The Elite Compass for pricing and available weeks.
