The full Bristol Bay experience — everything in the Standard Week plus two additional fly-out days to remote waters across the region, weather permitting. Bristol Bay holds some of the largest and most diverse fisheries on the planet; the fly-outs extend your reach beyond the Naknek River to waters that see far less pressure. THE EXPERIENCE

Itinerary

Saturday

Arrive King Salmon Airport, transfer to lodge, meet your guides over dinner and plan the week ahead.

Days 2–3

Guided fishing on the Naknek River — trophy rainbow trout and Arctic char on the fly.

Day 4

First floatplane fly-out to a remote Bristol Bay fishery, targeting fresh water that sees minimal pressure.

Day 5

Guided day at Brooks Falls, Katmai National Park — bear viewing and continued fishing on the Brooks River system.

Day 6

Second floatplane fly-out to a remote destination, weather dependent — your guide will select based on conditions and targets.

Day 7

Final day on the Naknek; fish processing completed and packed for travel.

Depart King Salmon Airport.

Best Time to Go: June – September (sockeye peak July–August; fly-outs most reliable July–August with stable weather)
