Overview
Ventosilla’s flagship estate sits 104 kilometers from Madrid and 20 kilometers from Toledo — a 15th-century palace originally built as a hunting pavilion for Toledo’s cardinals, now the base for one of Spain’s premier driven partridge operations. Two days of shooting across 60 drives and 4,000 hectares, with 600 red-leg partridge per day on an 8-gun line. Drives run four to five per day in both high-bird and classic Spanish-style formats; between them, guests break for tapas and a formal lunch, then return to the palace for cocktails and dinner. The season runs October through February.

THE EXPERIENCE
Itinerary
Arrive Madrid; ground transfer to Ventosilla Estate, settle into the palace and join the team for a welcome dinner.
First full shooting day — four to five drives beginning at 9:00 AM, tapas and lunch between morning and afternoon drives, formal dinner at the palace.
Second full shooting day, same format; afternoon transfer back to Madrid following the final drive.
